A Letter to Dawn

Dear Dawn,

I've also been tied to a past. Our past, to be specific. Yes, the days were happy, the days were cheerful, they were everything we wanted. But I think you only remember the good days, the days when we were together, while we were together. Do you not remember what happened after? Have you forgotten what was not meant to happen?

Yes, the days are cold today, but not as much as they were after they were warm. You see, our relationship was a pretty one. Love, perhaps... and then all fell down. Harbouring hatred is never a good thing, but that's what I did. Hatred for you, disgust. An unsurpassable amount of hatred. You've hurt me like no one ever did.

And now you ask me what happened? You must be out of your mind to make me relive everything again? No. Years of therapy wasted? No. Now I am alone but happy, away form you and all your problems.

I'm sorry but this is not what I want now.
